This grade DE is also a FEED GRADE to prevent all manner of internal parasites as well as the external ones. This grade has been tested against other and found to be the most effective by far. This is the one you want.

PEST CONTROL:
Diatomaceous Earth makes a very effective natural insecticide. The insecticidal quality of Diatomaceous earth is due to the razor sharp edges of the diatom which remains. This eliminates insects by causing dehydration.
Diatomaceous Earth works in a purely physical/mechanical manner, not ‘chemical’ and thus has no chemical toxicity and parasites don’t build up a tolerance/immunity to it. Reported to kill 90% of flies and fleas that come in contact with it within 48 hrs; Diatomaceous earth is excellent for eliminating ants, aphids, flea beetles, fleas, earwigs, sow bugs, mange mites, flies, ticks, slugs, house dust mites and cockroaches etc.
ANIMAL FEED:
It is also used as an Animal Feed additive for cows, calves, horses, sheep, goats, pigs, rabbits, chickesn, turkeys, ducks, dogs, cats, pigeon, and other pet or farm animals as a natural wormer and also to kill manner of internal parasites and flukes. Will also KILL most mange mite also.
LIVESTOCK:
Diatomaceous Earth will control re mite and other mites in poultry / animal houses when thoroughly applied to walls, floors, ceilings, perches, next boxes, bedding and cages at 10-15g per square metre. No need to remove feed, water, eggs or the animals.
Diatomaceous Earth is 100% Natural (not calcined or flux calcined) compound with many elements including: Silicon Dioxide (SiO2), Aluminium Oxide (Al2O3) - Iron Oxide (Fe2O3) - Calcium Oxide (CaO) - Magnesium Oxide (MgO) - Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) - Potassium Oxide + Sodium Oxide (K2O + Na2O). Sensible Use: Diatomaceous Earth is a 100% natural product and containts no chemicals, with sensible use this product should offer no harm whatsoever. However as a powder product this could be an irritant if breathed in excessively or in contact with eyes so to be used sensibly with common sense.
